Grayson College to host Texoma Veteran Benefits Expo

On Tuesday, Sept. 20, Grayson College will host the Texoma Veteran Benefits Expo from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. The expo is designed to bring area veteran service providers together in one convenient location to present benefits, services, products, employment opportunities and information for all interested veterans, their dependents and survivors.

“We are proud to host this event again,” said Donna King, Director of Financial Aid and Veteran Affairs. “We encourage veterans to bring their resumes and a copy of their DD214.”

The welcome and opening remarks will begin at 9:30 a.m. featuring Roxann Griffith, Regional Veterans’ Employment Coordinator with the U.S. Department of Labor. The event, which will be held on the second floor of the Student Life Building at GC’s Main Campus, is free to attend and is come and go. Snacks and drinks will be provided in the Veteran’s Hub.

Event sponsors include Dominos Pizza, Sunny D, Schlotzsky’s, Hot N Creamy Donuts, Mr. Jim’s Pizza, Firehouse Subs and Road Dawg Catering & Snowcones.
